Wondering about a metal detector

Just metal detected my backyard. Only found 2 nails and scrap metal. Still excited.

Keep at it. Be sure to read the manual and learn how the machine is talking to you. If you have a set of headphones, use them. I use some ear buds that I had laying around and I had to get an adapter from Radio Shack.

I found the adapters at the dollar store and they work fine along with some $1 earbuds, it does save battery life also. I run in all metal mode then if I get a hit I will sometimes flip over to discrimination or tone mode to try to decipher what I am digging. Good Luck!
