In case you have ever been shorted a few coins in your boxes....I think I know where they went.

Some of our boxes today had a few rolls with extra halves...to the tune of $33.50 extra.

Soo...I just decided to stop in at one of my fav coin shops and pick up a Peace Dollar.

The nice young man there explained how it wasn't a very good investment if I just wanted silver, and that the coin was actually a cull.

But I laid down the $23.00 cheerfully.

Besides...when I intend to spend this thing, I don't think they will be calling it a "cull" anymore.

Great price on a "cull" Peace at today's spot AG price. APMEX is paying $23.66 for "cull" Peace and Morgans.

I had a similar yet opposite situation. My bank would not give me my full box and I've skunked visiting 10 banks today. Took my frustrations out by buying my first Morgan Dollar. Congrats on the Peace! It's my favorite coin.
