Hit a few spots this weekend including a new spot the coughed up a old copper. Found the 1865 two cent and few nice buckles from a farm field. Pulled some buttons here and there along with the watch frame, and gun trigger? Went to a new spot I have been eyeballing on a map. Walked it for about an hr and pulled a cone shape flat button and some odds and ends. While I was walking around some thorns got a screaming 85. Dug the plug and was a little bummed to hear it was in the plug that only had 2" of dirt on it. When I pulled it out couldn't believe it was a copper but said to myself you never know. After looking at it I'm thinking it is a Woods Hibernian halfpenny. Made 1722-1724 sweet! Cool coin with a cool story. HH

Great assortment of finds especially the Wood's Hibernia. Is it a halfpenny or farthing?

Beauty finds and a Woods is definitely on the rarer side of coins. Buckles are sweet finds as well. Congrats
