Love old tools. I’m sure what you see as "--ogeport, Conn” is for Bridgeport in Connecticut. A likely maker would be John S. Fray & Co.
Fray started business in Bridgeport in 1866, incorporated in 1909 and was bought by Stanley Tools in 1920, but Fray is still listed in trade directories up until at least 1927.

ChatGBT is wrong when saying this is a "Yankee" push drill, while it looks similar to a "Yankee", it is not one.
I used a Yankee for many years before battery drill/drivers were in common use.
