Hi, thank you for the unwitting compliment, but AbeBooks actually borrowed it from either my ebay auction or my amazon page, the reason for that is they don't have their own copy. That shadow in the center is me, and the silver/gray bits on the side is the acid-free storage box the book sits in. Why would I steal a picture of a book I have? On the other hand, a website would borrow a photograph without asking for something they have listed but have 0 copies of. Furthermore, I think if a professional seller on Abe Books had a picture of their own copy, they would have done a better job of taking the photograph. Anyone can tell that is not a professional picture, but a quickly taken one.
No need to be hostile, I suspect there are some scammers here and there on the forum, I wouldn't know, I don't really buy stuff here(not by deliberate choice), I've just got other things to deal with. But rest assured, I don't steal anything from anyone.
I'm merely selling a book that I've followed enough to know what it is and how difficult it is to obtain it. For something that's "not rare" I want to point out again that one of the biggest book sites had to use my photograph.
Anyways, I've just uploaded 4 more pictures of the atlas in my other thread on this forum, the one with the appropriate "for sale" prefix.
