World's Fair Souvenir *****Better Pics********

I wasn't planning on doing any hunting today. However, I was going through some of unread posts and saw one with some relics and other stuff. I don't remember which post it was. Anyway, after looking at that post, I was inspired to do some relic hunting of my own. I had noticed earlier in the week that one of my older lots had the some of the grass cut recently. This place had a general store on it back in the early 1900's. The building had been torn down a few years back. It had been grown over pretty good for a while now. I spent about 3 hours there. I dug up about 90% trash but did end up with an item or two.

New York World's Fair Souvenir, 3 .25 a.c.p. shell casings, a .38 a.c.p casing, a .22Lr casing, a U.M.C. Co No 12 Nitro Club shell, modern penny and dime, a slaylock brass padlock and decorative piece.

Congrats on the finds. I found a 1939 New York World's Fair souvenir coin that was holed earlier in the year. I thought it was a large cent at first.

1939 New York World's Fair Souvenir Token. The front reads "Souvenir New York World's Fair and an image of the Trylon and Perisphere. The back has an image of the Statue of Liberty. 1.25" diameter. Some corrosion on back and wear along edge. (Stock number 003wf0417yZ) $35.00

I noticed the missing face too. I thought that was just how it was made. Guess not.
