if you have a pinpointer that is worn from digging, you can fix it with JB wield. mix, coat the pointer tip,let dry, sand to desired shape,I've don 3 and they work great, and last forever.

I was wondering what type of pinpointers you've done this on? Can you show us a picture?

this one not sanded yet , much harder than original and very little or no difference in preformance this is a bounty hunter , works on fisher also

I have worn out digging tools including the Lesche, I now use a wonder bar( WallMart less than 3 dollars). I knew I would be wearing out the end of my pinpointer to!! Thanks for the reminder of JB weld, great stuff!
