Hello all hope your all out swinging. Yesterday I went to an old park that was once farmland
Bla bla bla. I dig this coin spill under a tree 10 inches down out pop 5 small copper coins tiny smaller than a dime and one coin smaller than a quarter. I'm excited don't have a clue what they are all are toasted. I get home can not identify one of them right away !
After a bath and a soak I realize it's of the most toasted stinking Lincoln's I've ever seen
And one busted ass clad quarter It was fun while it lasted !! East coast
Ps. One nice silver ring !! And a cool old boyscout tie clasp

The Lincolns may have been toasted, but that older Boy Scout Neckerchief slide would have been worth the hunt for me.

Glad to see you got out and pulled some targets, That is a sweet ring and a cool BSA slide. The worst coins spill gave you plenty to post about. I think we have all dug a nasty coin spill or cache in the past.

Congrats nice silver ring and Boy scout slide! Lincoln's & clad are better than zines.
Possibly the boy scout buried the coins and stuff for safe keeping.

Thanks to our U.S. mint quarters and dimes as wellas new halves turn that ugly brown color after only a few years underground.Pennies struck after mid 1982 turn into dust after just a short time buried also.
