Well it started out amazing. A guy stopped by to have some welding done. Come to find out he owns a lot of property with old houses on it. He drove me around and showed me all these places I could detect.... Then I come home to this... My AT PRO is now dead.

Oh it was ran over by a truck. I left it on the porch and one of the kids got ahold of it. Left in the drive way and well dad decided to leave

Aww man, sorry to hear/see that...just a thought but you should try to contact garrett, start with an email and some of those very sad pictures, a receipt and some details may not hurt, I can only imagine what this machine has done for them financially, and they do have a very good rep, ill bet they would work out some type of deal for you in the way of a major discount if you sent it in, also if you do contact them and they help you out, let them know that it will spread across the forums...I mean this site has what over 50,000 members? Good PR for them. If they wont do anything it was worth a shot, good luck and keep us posted.

I've had an AT Pro on backorder for weeks. I'm very sorry for your lose but if Garrett gives you my detector I'm gonna be pissed. Just looking at another side of the story.

The unit and coil still works but it pulled the screws out. And broke the tabs out that straddle the handle. But still works. And the epoxy on the bottom of the coil chipped out and cracked. I did call them and they told me to send it in. I hope they will help me out. Also we are checking in with our home owners.

Ha ha well I am sorry to hear about. My local dealer has one more in stock. Hopefully they will just repair them. Or something. Ill still have to buy the now rod And headphones. Or something I dono. I am just stressed

The AT series are awesome machines. My experience level is limited, but my research is extensive. I cancelled my AT-PRO Adventure pack for a better unit....minus the fluff and junk. My Fischer F70 is the best decision I ever made.

I feel the same way about my at, with approximately 50 hours in it..an estimated 3000 un digged junk targets and plenty of coins very close to trash, I should bash the at pro in all threads I post in to misdirect newbies and further instill doubt in people who are brand loyal to others, so yeah, use fisher or anyone else besides garrett because the at pro is just clever marketing and hype...hahaha
