It's been a long time since finding a silver quarter in pocket change, possibly as long as 10 years or more.

I had to travel 100 miles to NY for a family function this weekend. Any weekend when I do not get to go metal detecting leaves me with an empty feeling, but "such is life".

Not knowing the White Plains area, I went to the nearest restaurant outside the hotel for a cup of coffee early this morning, which happened to be McDonald's.

When I got back to my hotel room and spilled the change out on the desk, this is how it looked.

You paid $3.45 for a cup of coffee? (Change of a $20 bill on the table.)

Two cups for $3.45. (One for the wife too!). You know the commercials for McDonald's, "Any size coffee for a dollar"? Not valid in NY Metro area!

Very Observant!

Cool find, I am always checking my change. :coffee2:
