Hi all!
Back in Feb. I had picked up a box of pennies at BoA that had the date Jan. 9, 2006 on the bottom. I found a total of 45 wheaties in this box. I went back for another box, but it was a different date. On 4-13-07 I went to the bank to pick up a box for the weekend. When I got out to the car I turned the box over and guess what the date was! I told my wife "no way " and opened the box to see a wheatback staring at me from one of the rolls. I started flipping the rolls and found another on the end. I opened these first and got 5 out of each roll. Just like the first box there were coins from the early 60s also that looked to have just came out of a mint roll. I went back and asked them to search for the specific date, but there weren't any more. Final total for this box:
1909 1946(2) 1958
1920(5) 1947 1958d(2)
1929 1948 1919(2)
1934 1949d
1935 1950(4)
1936(2) 1950s(3)
1937 1951
1939 1951d
1940 1951s(3)
1941(4) 1952(4)
1944(2) 1953
1944d(2) 1953d
1945 1954d
1945d 1957
For a total of 54 wheaties! Guess I will have to go check the other BoAs in the area. This bank sure gave me a funny look when I asked for a specific date!
Happy Hunting!

Jan. 09, 2006. I believe it was actually packed at the first of this year. You know how you always forget to change to the new year on everything. I believe they didn't change the stamp to 2007.

ah yes. new years always mess me up too. wonder where they all came from? maybe someones collection was cashed in or something. but who cares, they're all yours now ;)

Nice going!

I did some rolls of cents last week that had a whole bunch of '79s that looked new. Scattered in about 25 or so rolls.

Very nice. I like to search the cents now and then. Not too much luck recently though.
