Yesterday was one of those days you dream about. Hunting an old homestead that I didn't think was that old, but I was wrong. 1911d Barber dime, 1882 Indian Head, 1831 Matron head in pretty decent shape. Then the surprises, 1758 1 Reale and an 1809 Capped Bust dime. The dime is the Holy Grail of Capped Bust dimes with only 51,065 minted. I kept thinking a 1916d Merc would be an amazing find but this topped that. What a day. I am still flying high. I just wish the dime wasn't holed because it is in really great condition. It will be hard to go back to finding Wheats and common silver dimes. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.
