silver coins discovered in its walls during the process of it being torn down?
Well it appears that an enterprising treasure hunter figured that there was probably some spillage by the city recovery teams.
He has found an additional 360 silver coins to date on the empty lot.

It appears that a metal detector was never even used during the initial recovery.

He has learned that much of the debris removed during the tearing down of the subject was in the form of top soil, and was simply removed from that site along with all the demolition debris.

Its more then likely that the fine debris contained another few hundred or thousand coins.

Now, I would of thought half of Florida would have headed over there as soon as that lot was originally cleared. I mean it makes sense that a crew of laborers sure, would have left lots of coins in the ground.

Apparently this guy had the whole lot to himself whenever he wanted or had the time to hunt it.
