Well I was headed home from working 2nd shift and thought that I would stop and fuel up the old mini van at a local Cumberland Farms. As I finished up I walked towards the door and heard a friend call out my name. He said. Paul do you collect old money? I said. It depends on what it was?
Well he explained to me that the clerk would not let him buy a pack of smokes with what he had so he showed me 2 $1 silver certificate's 2 $1 silver 22's and 2 Silver half's. I sad. How much do you want for this? He Said. Well I need a pack of smokes. So I bought him a pack of smokes and he gave me the old CASH!!!!
Boy did I make out. I was given a bit more then the pack of smokes were worth and to kick it all off my buddy said he had 20 more $1 silver coins that he will sell me for $20.00.
Wish I had more friends like that.

buy him a carton

every time he gets 20 in silver he'll come to you

I'm trying to quit smoking for the 50 or 60th time. It's been two weeks and I am grumpy and nervous but determined to do it this time. I realize they were killing me and I only have one lung that works well anyway! I'm taking Chantix and it really helps. I lit one the other day and took two drags and put it out because it tasted like s---! Before that I would light one but couldn't smoke it all because I'd start coughing. Everyone says you feel better but I don't yet and I am gaining weight. And for the first time I can smell smoke in other peoples clothes and hair. I just wish I could have one cigarette......about a mile long!

Hang in there Monty, you can do this, just remember you never fail until you stop trying.

Reminds me of a similar situation i had years back that i greatly benefited from:
A buddy of mine managed a quick-lube, a customer wanted to pay for his oil
change with buffalo head nickles , long story short, i got $20 of buffs for face value.

All common coins but all 10 rolls have full dates.

Nice job on your find!

Well as I felt bad I advised him that he should consider selling the rest of the coins to my friend that I sell them to and he still thought that I should buy them from him so I did.
