made it out to my favorite spot today,, got 1901 and 02 indians ,, 2 old wheats a 48 rosie, a 1911 barber dime,, two 1917 mercs,, a 1900 and a 04 barber quarters a 37 buffalo a buffalo with no date, and some costume jewelry.

my best day ever,,,,i'll never forget that one,,,,,,,,,
4.5 hour hunt, nothing over 5 in' deep, and only 2 coins close to each other,

The condition of the 1917 mercs is particularly interesting. One is an anomally...but 2 in the same relative grade suggest that the area had something going on in the teens. Imagine finding a 16-D merc at that spot.....in the same relative grade....that would be big bucks.

Really nice finds. I know where I'd be hunting on a daily basis.
