made it out to my favorite spot today,, got 1901 and 02 indians ,, 2 old wheats a 48 rosie, a 1911 barber dime,, two 1917 mercs,, a 1900 and a 04 barber quarters a 37 buffalo a buffalo with no date, and some costume jewelry.

my best day ever,,,,i'll never forget that one,,,,,,,,,
4.5 hour hunt, nothing over 5 in' deep, and only 2 coins close to each other,

whites600inPA makes a very good point. If that site was hot in the teens, you could be hot on the trail of a nice 16-D merc or say a nice 1901-S Barber Quarter. Wish you luck

"wow" is putting it lightly! That some totally AWESOME digs there! I'm still waiting for my first Barber quarter. I predict I'll find one by year's end (yeah, right!).
