✅ SOLVED Wreath portion 2piece buckle

Found this wreath side of 2 piece buckle years ago and have always wondered what other portion would look like. I’ve seen this wreath before others have found. It’s pressed brass with opening measured at 11/16”. Small penny size opening. Found at farm dating to 1794 in Maryland. Lots of stuff up through civil war period. Found many Victorian era buckles.
Any ideas on what tongue would look like?

The wreath is half of a circa 1850's fashionable waist belt clasp, constructed of thin rolled sheet brass pressed in a die. These were quite popular with women and children during the period, although men were also known to wear these as well (based on period photo images). The matching center tongue piece would likely be either plain design on a domed disk, or possibly a decorative floral motif. Both styles have been noted with the Tongue & Wreath belt clasps comparable to this, with the decorative leaves at the side of the belt loops.
