Well this morning i turned in 30 WW2 tags to American Legion 509 . They where found at Hammer field over the years. I was able to return 4 tags but its very hard to tract family members. They told me they will work hard to return them and will contact me. Hopefully family members will want a small piece of history of love ones.
 

Good luck to you & them. I ran up against resistance of mortuaries and American Legion halls saying that "privacy laws forbid" them from giving you info. to next-of-kin. Then when I suggested to them that ... perhaps they can pass my # on to the heirs, for THEM to contact me ....... that too falls on deaf ears. So I eventually gave up and put this silver military bracelet I'd found in the melt heap :BangHead:
