Just when you don't expect to find anything, it takes kneeling down and changing the battery's to catch something out of place amongst all that trash and glass, lol...

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433042962.819157.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433042983.067822.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433043039.350909.jpg ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433043075.802286.jpg

The old dump does it again... Delivers silver on top of silver. First signal before changing the battery's on the Beast was a low high tone with a jumpy VDI. Well, good thing I checked the hole twice because it turned out to be a 1956 D Rosie. Silver within a five min, lol.
ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433043098.002381.jpg

Just inches away and another high tone but much clearer. Can it be, don't tell me another coin? A Mexican 20 centavo coin, darn... Thought it was my barb quarter [emoji30]!

Well, I'm not gonna complain... I continue to swing and with every pass a high signal amongst the lead, cans, broken glass and shotgun casings. 20 min in and a beautiful sweet tone, music to my ears... Uh Oh, it looks like a Silver half!!!!! NOPE! It's something else...

Continued to pound the place and recovered some more goodies...

Finally after two years found the second half of my buckle and least a hundred yards from the first piece...

And to top the day off... A silver chain and two silver rings. Thank You Lord!

Enjoy the pics,
TY

I just can't get over that site of yours ! I know there's plenty of older sites (cellar holes /sites overseas ,etc.) but the constant
variety and volume of goodies that you pull from there makes it very special indeed - count your blessings friend !

Thanks guys... If you can hunt here you can hunt anywhere. This is another dumpsite and haven't hit in over two years. It's in the desert and its used for target practice and clay shooting, so there's tons of lead. When I first hit it back then I didn't like it cause of all the false and trashy signals but now, it's a honey hole. This is the type of terrain I learned to hunt which help me tune in to my tones on my AT Gold.

My buddy car91rs has also been having some good luck at these places. Last I herd he's changing his Tnet name to something or other, lol. Any help in finding him a new tag name would be greatly appreciated lol!

Unreal! You wouldn't believe the similarities between the two sites we are both digging. My new site is also a WWII dump, and it's covered with broken and melted glass, bits of dolls, buttons, military insignia, etc. Maybe the old uniforms were tossed in the trash, burnt, and then all the medallions, and coins that were in or on the uniforms burnt off and were lost in the garbage pile for us to find. What an amazing site, always gives up something

Very nice sharpshooters badge. I like that a lot. I found one of the lower (hanging) parts for "Rifle", but missing the top...

Congrats! It's amazing what you can find in trash piles, I found two WWI Dog Tags and a Gold Gilded 1902 Fire Fighter Medal that looks good as new.

lol!!!

Those places are awesome to hunt. With all the stuff they threw out especially military uniforms with medals and badges your bond to find silver... Your dump is just like mine... It's funny cause before you posted I also found a United States Army Medical Plate. I find these all the time.

That Missile badge is pretty cool, and the first one I remember seeing on here, but it's not WW2, that award was introduced in 1958. Combine that with the WW1 era Cavalry collar disk and you've got a good lone time frame for relics there!
