Ate breakfast at my in-laws this morning and afterwards I walked to the neighbors house, and detected their yard. Got some interesting stuff. No super old stuff and no silver, but I will gladly take the Good Conduct medal anyday over a common silver. It cleaned up super!

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

Nice find , I found a more recent edition of that in an old neighborhood yard in Silver City, NM. Mine is likely from
the 1960's or later .
(I think they still issue these for anybody who serves honorably for 3 years or more )

What a great find on the Fourth of July. Very nice

Few hunts ago I found my first military medal and it was a WWII Victory Medal. It was in terrible shape though. I knew from knowledge what it was when I found it.

What I love most about any military item such as a coat button or medal such as this one are the possibilities. Who wore it or received it. Were they active participants in a war? What battles were they involved in? I could go on but you catch my drift.

Great find!
