He all,
Still lookin for a couple programs or tips for my XLT while I'm relic hunting in VA.
Any tips,
I am just lookin for I proven program to make the most of my time as this is a once a year deal for me.

Stay with the Relic program, it's pretty good. Turn up your AC & DC Sens a few notches and turn your pre-amp gain up to 4. That should give you a little extra depth. You may have to play with these settings if it gets unstable. Ground balance often.

I used this at Culpeper (hot red dirt) with decent success. Trying other programs and modifications didn't help at all, only frustrated me.

If you are relic hunting, best advice, DIG IT ALL. You don't want to leave anything good.
