For me I think it was healthy to redo my custom programs. Although I can not figuratively say finds have improved since I upgraded to 4.1 but I have had some significant finds in areas I thought I had previously covered with the Deus in 4.0. I think it is more likely my custom program I use in the park is running differently likely as I understand it more than when I first used it on the field. I changed a couple of things but we must be wary of cognitive bias.

Are you talking about the built-in coil pinpointer or the standalone MI6 pinpointer?

I will pay more attention in the morning when I go out again. I will let you know if I notice anything. Nothing jumped out at me today but I was not specifically paying attention to it.

Hey, you can turn your pinpointer on and then go into the pinpointer settings on your controller and set the sensitivity as well as the pitch frequency, I believe.

I use XP Detect anyway. It's worked with my 9" HF coil since it was first released.

Yes, what? That is only an installer. I installed that and gave it all necessary permissions, but it isn't the XP Detect app, nor do I see the XP Detect app in the list of programs that it offers.

My issue is with the coils built in Pin point function. Not the MI-6

That was like that for V4.0, at least it was for me. I don't use the integral pinpoint on the deus prefering to use the tip of the coil method, then the MI-6. Out for two hours. I did not notice a tone difference.

Yeah, I don't use it either. I sweep the coil in an X pattern and then dig in the middle.

I do the same. As I am mainly coin shooting in the local park where I should not dig, if I can't pick it up with the MI-6 at high sensitivity, likely I can not retrieve it. That being said, if I get a really unique signal, I will dig, just very discretely.

Went back to V4 and the built in PP sound is back to normal ad the XP-detect app now connects with my phone and works as it should.
Looks like I'll be waiting for the final release of V4.1
Side note I got the elliptical coil in this morning.
Does anyone have custom programs saved for just the HF coils?
Like I have program 12-14 are for my 11 inch legacy and 15-18 would be for my HF coil there is no problem with that set up is there?

The pinpoint sound is higher for me also. More like 3.2. The coil comunication seem quicker and the pinponter turns on faster but still not 100%.

So I'm not nuts thank you!! The built in Pin Pointer sound is a higher pitch. I think the MI-6 connects slower using V4.1 I went back to V4 last night and everything works as it should.

It's not in the Google Play Store anymore, but you might have some luck by doing a Google search for "XP Detect .APK". Hope this helps.
