Tested items = Silver Barber Quarter, Ladies Gold band w/diamonds, Large men's .925 silver ring between large rusty square nails.

nice test .I find though when it really gets interesting is when you raise the iron 3 to 5 inchs above the target. I dont know that ive tested a detector in my test garden that wouldnt pass the test you just conducted. Ive got a four inch merc with 4 nails around it and they all hit it. Ive got a clad quarter at 5 inchs and have put to nails beside it and tested it with deus and 30/30. Have you tried raising the iron to 3 -5 inchs different ball game for detectors at that point. thanks for the video I love watching test it,im always learning.

I did some with the barber quarter at like 6 -7 inches, maybe. Haven't even reviewed them yet so I can't remember. Two nails on each side at the surface if I recall correctly. I'll have to get them reviewed, find it and serve it up.

Yes. New young neighbors with 4 dogs that hate my metal detectors. Not sure how many were out that time but all of them get annoying.
