Hello all, just need help with these results. I picked up this Egyptian Wrist/arm cuff a few yrs ago and just had some items, including this, XRF Scanned. These are the results I got back and was wondering if this is an ancient or new alloy mix. It says it is unknown alloy but the closest to the concentration is Cartridge Brass. Thank you for the help.

It's composed of Copper and Zinc. It is a modern brass alloy.

The ancient Egyptians didn't have a source of zinc (needed to make brass) so they didn't make or use brass. Instead they made bronze objects from copper. Bronze is Copper and Tin. Brass is Copper and Zinc.
