Xterra 705 or t2 se

im getting the itch to buy another detector for my arsenal (I hope this the last itch LOL),have it narrowed down to these two. Would like opinions and user experiances on either or both of these machines

I know nothing of the t2 se, but have an Xterra 705 and will never part with it. It is a very good and versatile detector. Have made many good finds with it. Found several "firsts" with it. Definitely look into the 705 hard before deciding.

If you already have an Xterra 505, I don't know that you would find enough differences between the two.

I have both, used the t2 all last year and really like it. Only had the 705 out a few times. There very different the t2 seems hotter and I'd be surprised if the 705 gets as deep as the t2, but the 705 seems more stable and probably will id better. The only thing I don't like about the 705 is where the headphones plug in.

Dirtscratcher has pretty much summed up the major differences- except that I think depth would be close. It would depend upon your level of experience, the site, and the soils.
