y'all know I could keep these coming for weeks

[Bates]

I'm not trying to gender discriminate stereotype or imply that women are less intelligent than men. It is harder for a woman of my generation to identify stuff like this. it's just a reflection of experience not intelligence okay this is about 14 in Long and made out of some type of metal that will Rust and the long part is wrapped in a spring.

My First Instinct Push Tire Pump Handle

Of course I've never seen the Inside of One.

You are making a strong effort to learn and that speaks volumes.

[No gold in NY]

Not much reference as to size in the OP pic. The "handle" looks more like it is to be turned with the fingers as opposed to being grasped by the hands as with a faucet handle.

[Gambrinus]

The smart guys or girls will have to id that for you. I hope you keep them coming.

[Tpmetal]

not sure what being a woman had to do with any of that, plenty of men and women won't have any idea what this is. But can we get better in focus pics of the triangular thing at the top? maybe from a few angles?

[Plug N Play]

The pictures leave a lot to be desired and I'm not seeing the word "spiral".
That said, it may be an Archimedes Drill.

[xr7ator]

This guy's got no clue!

[dirtdigginfool]

No issue here asking for help with trying to identify mystery items, like TP says, a lot of us post things, myself included, asking for help. Heck I've got stuff now I have no idea what they are. And no, I have no idea what your piece is, sorry! But yes...keep those coming! There's been very few objects that have gone unidentified, there is a plethora of intelligent people here willing to help. Hope you get a positive i.d.! Ddf.

I could fill up a large "I have no idea" bucket a whole lot quicker than the time it would take me to fill up a "I know what this is" cup. This is the place to come and learn.
