An 1893 IHP showed itself this evening, finally getting me out of my old coin slump I have been in lately. Also got some older wheats, clad, Accordian reeds (1 big one about 3 1/2" long), a Road King plate that was folded in half, and a few miscellaneous. One of the items was deep and maybe funnel shaped before it was smashed. Any ideas on that one?

top center would be the wick holder from a kerosene type lamp.
dunno about the squashed bit.

looks like U have a nice yard to fine tune your skills with though WTG.

looks like an old "reed" in there too

that's an old yard for sure - I'd hit it hard!

You will get one soon. I only found a dozen of them last year, this year I am up to 45 so far. Learning where to hunt makes all of the difference. I lucked into this one because I think it was a little shallower than normal because of an old sidewalk tear-off. I will send you a pm here soon.
