What is it?

4.5" long, 2.5" wide, .75" thick

It's magnetic, not real strong, but obvious. If this is a large magnet, does anybody know what it is used for?

It's an odd shape for a magnet, that's for sure. Maybe it's just a tool that became magnetized? But then it's an odd shape for a tool, too.

Its a magnet off a flywheel for an old model T.

Old timer told me they would test them for magnetism. if they where weak they would replace them. Came out of a model T flywheel.
