YEA!!!! Rocky mount produces some good finds

Had a new hunting buddy take me to some good spots today, I definitely need to thank him again.

Looks like some pretty old relics.
I have an uncle in Rocky Mount. I have visited a few times.
Watch out for snakes.....I am always paranoid that I wont pay attention and get bit.

Nice finds. I belive the top item in the 1st picture is an old Hoe for clearing fields by hand, the hard way.
Can't help you with the rest of the things other than that nail you found. I have seen the spike with the hook on the end but for the life of me can't remember what it was used for. Its been to long ago. HH

Thanks for the posts, I definitely will be there again. there is more iron signals than i care to dig, one of the 2 house sites had 2 chimneys so apparently the house was fairly large. I cant wait to go back to see what I'll find next.
