Yes.. Finally a SLQ....

Hey guys
Got out today after work. Since i just got the dfx i have been going over some old spots in the hope of hit something I wasnt at this spot more then three swings when i get a somewhat good signal. It was fluxuating between mid 90's and 80's on the detector, and said it was 5 inches down. I pulled the plug and it was still in the hole, only now the signal was louder and solid 89 on the screen. I removed some dirt and instantly I saw a nice silver disk. My first SLQ was in my hand. And its early, 1917 to be exact. I guess its veriety one with no stars under the eagle. I've dug a few washingtons and one barber, however the Sl was def. on the wish list. In two weeks with the dfx ive dug a canadian fishscale, a flying eagle cent, and a SLQ. To say the least, im impressed.

congratulations! nice to see your new dfx paying off. i've had mine for about a year, haven't had any silver YET- as i said before i'm still dreaming! way to go!

That's just the start man with a Dfx. It's a ground sweeper on any type of alloy. Once you learn it's tones vdi numbers and you can learn to customize it's settings. Your really gonna find some stuff. My brother upgraded from a mxt to a dfx this yr.

I've had a dfx for 7 yrs and know it very well. I was able to set his for him right out of the box. Hist finds started going through the roof. He found like 10 barber quarters this yr. And some other nice items. The first day he had it he got a 2 center barber quarter ect.

It's a really good and reliable unit to have. Large coils on it make it even better.
