Yesterdays Creek hunt

I found this old bottle yesterday sticking out of a creek bank that had recently collapsed.
The top was broken off but it's a good sign I'm in the right place.

Definitely a good sign! Any markings or writing? But is it a cork bottle or screw on cap?

No markings and no top unfortunately. It had no seems at all and was almost 4' from the surface ...

I went back yesterday , but the creek bank was harder then I thought. I need bigger tools. I did find a flat button down stream in the crack of some bed rock. Other then that lots of pull tabs and sinkers..
