Yesterday's Playgrounds were a little dry for pocket change but managed to get a few interesting pieces of jewelry, the Jamaica pendant (UNMARKED) looks good but in fact is probably stainless steel, magnet sticks to both chain and pendant... and acid test stone doesn't even leave any color, the CROSS on the other hand is not marked but seems to acid test to 14K, so at 1.6 grams its about $100.
That Necklace, well it was a Yard Sale find and the lady was kind enough to tell me it was silver, and she said $3 so I bought it...
It does in fact test silver on the stone, and weighs 46 grams ? a pretty nice chunk of change for a yard sale...
My only regret was not buying a few of the other pieces she had that were not marked but possibly were low carat gold.. (no pictures)
Enjoy !!
