You guys think these rings are worth it?

Hey guys I have an opportunity to buy these rings. The 10k onyx one for $80 but more importantly the 14k aquamarine/diamond one for $100. I REALLY like the aquamarine one. It's dirty right now but it would clean up sooo nicely. BUT I haven't bought a ring for more than $50 before lol Thoughts?? Thanks guys!

Onyx - Most hovering in the $100ish range but none like the one I found with the two toned gold square.....

I can only buy one. I like both lol but what would be the better investment? if any.. Need opinions! Edit: both are really quite light in weight although the onyx one looks big it's hollow inside.

I actually don't think the rings are the same quality. The picture you posted that sold for $265 definitely has better prongs and appears to be tighter engraving filigree. The one Sparta is looking at has very clunky prongs. They look like reproductions to me especially when they were said to be kind of hallow. I would be passing on these.

You may be right now that I took a closer look at it and drank my morning coffee, lol. Those prongs do look cheap.

Also note the difference in facets on the stones. They are still probably gold and real stones but not period. Prices seem about right retail pricing for these.

In digg's photo the prongs are cast with the ring and in Spartcom's ring they look like they were soldered on after the ring was cast. Both look like they were made using the lost wax method.
