You just can't make this up!

Ok guys I've been hunting the last two days with the good old ACE 250 and loving it. So I goto a new park, it was called Lincoln Park under the freeway so I'm digging a strong quarter hit and as I'm digging my Washington a Ben Franklin falls next to me from the freeway about 75 feet above me!! So not a bad hall for day 7-8 with the ACE 250. I'm assuming it flew out of a car or semi driving on the road and fell in my lapp!! I would return it but I think it would be impossible to track this person down? But all and all $107.00 and my 2nd 1944 wheat penny in great shape, it was between to other pennies in the same hole, I guess it true that things come in three's! clearly you were at the right place at the right time for sure and yep I totally agree that it would be impossible to track down the owner of it --good for you --bad for them but hey thats life at times.

uh by the way --your ace 250 is about 1/2 way self paid for now

That is an awesome find! You may want to go back and check the bushes for more that may have blown around. I have seen news stories of $10,000 in Bens gone with the wind! (there are 100 bills in a bank stack: 100x100=10,000)
