One of my great grandfathers died of what they used to call "Farmers Disease". Melanoma on the back of the neck turned into esophageal cancer. That's about as red as you can get! The Drs. of the day recommended he treat himself by putting pieces of raw beef on it. Logic being so the cancer would eat the beef and not him! No joke!
