You never know what you'll find!!

Hunted this weekend at a baseball field where I played Little League ball back in the late 80's/early 90's. After 2 hours of hunting, and digging up modern day coinage 6-10 inches deep, I uncovered my first Barber coin (pictured).........2 inches deep!!! This just goes to show that you never know what you're going to find, or where. Also found this silver quarter about 10-15 yards away from where I found the Barber dime.........10 inches in the ground!! Happy Hunting everyone!!!

Nice digs. Got my first barber abt a month ago. Kudos!

Nice digs , need more silver producing sites here !! :occasion14: Tried some outfields last fall they were aluminum can mines.

Beautiful.

And you're right. I dug my oldest coin ever recently, a 1787 NJ Copper. It was less than 2 inches down.
I couldn't believe it.

You're right you just never know.

Congrats on the silvers :occasion14: I pulled my 1st barber out of an old football field (3 silver dimes in the same hole/possible coin spill).,2 Mercs (1920, 1941, and a Barber (1902).

Nice! Congrats!

Maybe grid search the area the old silver came from from two directions.

Nice finds. There's likely more there

Nice finds, got my first barber a couple weeks ago, same year but yours is in WAY better condition.

Very cool, I've had wierd days like that, clad deeper than silver, wheats at 2", etc etc.

Killer silvers!
