Welcome Back Forum Friendlies, I was out in the Texas sunshine this morning hitting a few banks and working on my Winter Tan. First 10 banks was a total skunkeroo with every excuse known to man. I veered off the highway with urging from my trusty iPhone and found a one bank town which I hadn't been to for over a year. Being the lazy a$$ that I am, I first tried their drive thru. Nice little blue haired gal told me that Betty Lou had some in her drawer in the Main Bank. I did what every red-blooded CRHer would do and left dual tire tracks screaming madly for the front of the bank. Betty Lou was occupied in the Ladies Convenience Room, so I had to wait. With a straight face she offered me 2 brown paper wrapped rolls and a few stragglers. She said she and another gal had looked at them and they were too old and dirty for their grandkids to play with. I will just have to clean these little buzzards up. Cheers, Jim



Sorry to break the bad news. This story is totally fabricated and is riddled with falsehoods and lies. The truth is my son(the prince) owed me money and these were what he dug out to pay me. Sorry about the poor attempt at humor. Jim

As an aside, it never occurred to me to just go through the drive through at a bank to ask for halves. Wouldn't there be a problem with heavy coins in those vacuum chutes?

Hey JT10, One thing I wasn't lying about is being lazy. I drive up and the girls tell me what they have etc. If it's too much for the sucker, they will have me come in. I haven't encountered many who aren't helpful. Thanks, Jim

JT - Most banks won't send rolls through the vacuum tubes. However, most have a slide-out drawer (for commercial customers). These drawers have handled $500 boxes easily.
