I was about 59 minutes into a one hour hunt at a local park baseball diamond, when Julio (My ATPro) proclaimed a solid 94 repeatable signal at 4" down. I'm so jaded that I huffed and thought to myself, "squished cat food can." But Julio knew what he was talkin' about, because there at 4" down was a CHUNKY STERLING SPINNER RING with crushed turquoise inlaid waves...yay!:hello2:

I test drove the spinner and it works flawlessly. It weighs in at a respectable 11.8 Grams and is marked inside, "925." It sure brightened my day! Note to new diggers, I have consistently found jewelry in the field behind SECOND BASE on many baseball/softball fields. I can't explain why, but it happens! :icon_scratch: Happy hunting and thanks for taking a peek.

Super find!! Bet it made your day.

Awesome ring! Thanks for the tip ill have to try it out!
I know I would be spinning that thing all day!
Congrats!

Many a guy tried to get to second base and got the rings thrown at them.....That has to be the answer. Nice find, Congrats!!!

Nice find ! The origin of that "wave pattern " on the spinner portion is Native American (specifically Hopi ) Here in New Mexico I have found several of those Hopi "wave pattern " rings but none of them have the chip in epoxy inlay . Very nice find ! I am not suggesting that your ring is of Native manufacture , notably because of the spinner aspect ,and the .925 mark . Typically the Hopi versions have the wave pattern sawn out of a sheet of silver , and soldered down to the ring shank base . Then a tiny steel chisel is used to hammer a texture into the recessed sawn out areas - after which it is oxidized (blackened) for relief between the high and low areas of the design elements .

I bet it is very nice, I haven't found a silver spinner yet but that one would work just fine.

Wow! 11.8 grams...awesome !! Congrats!!

Julio knows rings! All hail Julio! :notworthy:
