Because why not?
Here's a little about myself.
My name is Joe and I live in Pittsburgh, PA. Currently 19 years old and a Freshman in college. My dream career is to be a successful fantasy writer. I'm an Eagle Scout and grew up in a military family. I've seen most of Europe and have lived on both sides of North America.
Hobbies:
-Krav Maga
-Butterfly and throwing knife collecting
-Writing fantasy
-Traveling
-Learning about the world and its secrets
For several years I've fancied the idea of being a treasure hunter-having a love for history-, and up until today I thought it would be a waste of time; that this world has been torn apart and stripped of secrets with our modern technology. However, I came across something online today that changed my perspective completely. I read about the legend of Olivier Levasseur and his treasure and couldn't believe what I was reading: a great treasure that has yet to be uncovered? It absolutely blew me away. After reading all I could find about it throughout the day, I looked for other undiscovered treasures. I had no idea that the world still held so many unsolved mysteries.
I might come off as naive, silly or just plain foolish, but what I've learned is that when I have a dream, I don't care what others say about it. If people even think this stuff might be real, then I want to be a part of the adventure of uncovering it all. What's more, I couldn't believe I found an entire forum full of like-minded people.
To put everything in short: I have a car, I have motivation, I have a drive, and I have the willingness to learn and discover.
SO my question for you veterans is simply this: where should an idiot begin?
