Hi guys, here's a juvenile Crimson Rosella. They have a lot of green when young which turns to red when they mature. The thought is, that being greener when young before they learn to evade predators better that they are more difficult to spot in the foliage. Intelligent design. 👍

Nature sure takes care of it self as the young are almost always camouflaged..... Great pic.......
 

Australia has amazing birds, from cassowaries to all kids of parrots/macaws and everything in-between. I get excited with a bluejay....
