Your Dream Vehicle.

Hi Everybody,
Just sold my dream car. I bought it new when I got out the army in 1964. Ordered it new from Nickey Chevolet in May of 63 and picked it up in Sept 63.
It was a 1964 Impala S.S,2 door hardtop. White interior, roman red exterior. 425 H.P. 409, 4 speed, 456 posi rear. No radio, heater. Car had a little over 5000 miles, a 1/4 mile at a time.
When I bought it the first time out it ran in the 15 second range.
Last year was the last time raced and it ran 10:973.
Due to having cancer it had to go. It broke my heart when the guy bought it and trailered it to it's new home.
Now the cancer seems to be gone after 3 operations and the car is too.
I'm glad to be alive, but I sure miss my car and no he won't sell it back to me and i don't have the money to buy it anyway.

Here is mine. 1949 Ford F-1, 460, Holley double pumper, Edelbrock intake and cam. Would hit 145mph in the 1/4 mile. Bought this truck when I was 16. Unfortunately some jacka$$ backed a 1 ton flat bed out in front of me one day about 6 years ago and totalled it out. If you look close you can see a gray truck in the background. That is a 1950 Ford (same body style) that I am working on now.

If I ever get it done I think my next will be a 1946 Ford coupe
