Is there a better machine for the money? They offer like 8 accessories ( retail value 350 ) for free along with the detector. Can I do better than this for 500?

Well I can not say either. I have always had a Whites or a BH. If you want ot buy used or new. If buying new keep checking around and when they tell yo a price if it is higher then the last price you got call someone else. Now Kellyco says they will beat any price that you have give them a call and see I have always been happy with them. IF you want use yes you can do better....Matt

I plan on keeping mine for some time.

I'm sure you'll get opinions for other machines, but it seems for price/simplicity/capability, its certainly very difficult to beat.

I've had my F5 for 3 weeks....this machine rocks!

I would strongly urge you to try to find a lightly used; high end machine! :icon_scratch: Alot of people get metal detectors then go out and dig up large chunks of iron, bottle caps, and pull tabs and then promptly place their detector up for sale on the used market! ::) There are plenty for sale..Craigs list, Ebay, this forum, etc. :icon_study: Someone who paid big money for a new machine is usually willing to sell it often times at half price or less just to get rid of it! :-\ Many are still under warranty! ??? Some people just don't like used stuff, but if you can get over that I think you can make some great buys on used detectors! Just be sure to give them a test before you pay the bucks out! Good luck to you in whatever you decide to go with!
