One of my friendly bank tellers told me this story today. She has a friend who has a roll of silver quarters. She asked me how could she find out the value of the roll. I said eBay. Then she asked would you be willing to buy it? I told her ask her friend what they want for it. She is going to bring it next time I see her. What is a fair price for a roll of silver quarters? I'm assuming they are Washington's and circulated but that is just a guess. I wouldn't want to go to low and upset the teller as she orders me many halve dollar boxes. Your thoughts?

I'd offer 10 times face value - $100 for the roll. It's worth at least $130.

Checking the "coinflation.com" web-site just now, show's the melt value for a roll of Washington 25c's would be about $130.21.......

I agree that 10x face is very fair. She could probably net a little more on ebay, but you should get a bit of a discount paying cash with no hassle.

I agree, 10 times face seems fair. Personally if I were her, I would gladly give up $30 not having to deal with eBay.

Yes, 10x face is an easy number and leaves you a ;little something.
