Nice pics especially the green bee. Found a link about green metallic bee however only the top part of the body is green and this is a female bee. Yours looks all green (could this be the male bee ?)

I've always known those as a sweat bee. Never looked in to the true name. I tried to get a picture of one here but he moved around to much. You got some very pretty pictures Kat.

tamrock...thanks....yes, you're right they are sweat bees. I guess "metallic green" just sounds better or describes the way they look. They say the females are the fast movers & the males are slower.
