Brinks half box #220: skunk

Best box of the year with 19 silver halves. The first several rolls all had at least one with a few with multiple silvers. I thought it was going to be a dream box but the pace died off as the box continued.

My new temporary dumping situation went smoothly. I'm going to cut my pickups in half in May and that will alleviate the loss of my coin counting machine.

Keep on stacking!

I've got four more boxes coming next week and then I'm dropping down to two boxes a week.

April totals: 51 silver keepers

I'm very happy with that monthly total.

Just got to keep on stacking.

Bummer...I was really hoping for some silver. I'm on a nine box skunk streak and it's getting old. Gotta keep stacking!

After a 10 half-box skunk streak, I hit a 1.4%-keeper box which included a 1999 90%-silver proof.

When I opened the box, I thought I had a rewrapped skunker until I saw the little lady walking:

It had two walkers, two bens, 3-64's, 6-40%, and 1-90% proof.

It was a nice box. That was my first 90%-silver proof after 3.5 years of CRHing.

Brinks half box #229: skunk

Brinks half box #230: 8-90% and 6-40%

I'm taking a couple weeks off from boxes due to traveling. I hope to score with some cwr's though.

Keep on stacking!

Well I did about $1350 in cwr's and teller trays and came back with a 1966 half and a 1934 walker. I hit so many banks but everything was hunted dry except for two teller tray finds. Oh well...you won't find anything if you don't try, and I did come back with something. I've got another trip planned and putting a hold on boxes until I get back.

$1350 half dollar cwr's and loose: 1-90% and 1-40%

Still holding off on ordering boxes since I can't be around to pick up and dump while traveling. Still hoping for a big cwr score.

Ended May with 18 silver keepers but was really stoked by the modern 90% silver 1999 half.

Zero: HOW UNFAIR, I go in to one of my dime pickup banks (of which I rarely get halves-not a half guy I guess), but anyway, I get a box of dimes, then the teller slips me a 1960 BEN and says that will be two quarters please. She knows I collect silver, dimes especially. I treat her & others every now & then

Well, I'm back in the box business. I took a month off from boxes and had one nice cwr score. So, it was a nice break. Got two skunks this week.

Brinks half box #231: skunk

Brinks half box #232: skunk

June month totals: 104 silver keepers...awesome month

Keep on rolling.
