zoomorphic pestle!

wow...just WOW! For me this is my banner find of the year. A zoomorphic pestle associated most likely with Chinook culture. I have only found one other in nearly 60 years of looking. It is six inches long and has lots of wear indication on the end. The sides are very flat and smooth. The patina is unimportant other than the obvious long term exposure to salt water. And boy-howdy does it ever fit nice in the hand (that's an inside joke, but it really fits great!)
