Eagle,

First of all let me bid you welcome to T-Net
A finer bunch of folks you won't find on the web.
where about in Wstern Co do you live??

There isn't enough content here to comment on what the stone says or even points to.
please show the whole group of stones. There is content in the collected group. if it is a pointer it will become evident when you look at all the stones as a group.

Here are a couple of your pix showing what I can see.
The heart is Very small. You should be almost on top of what they are hiding.

Nice catch EUC,

I have taken several closer looks and have done a negative image on the whole (carved marks show up quick on a negative) and here are the results.

The one thing that really sticks out here is that E
The Spanish would put out several short difficult trails to confuseeach one leading no where.
The E is telling someone who knows the sign "wrong way" or "change direction",
the true pointer will probably be the one with the heart stone on it or near it. It also has a marker on the one side as shown.

The heart is a sign of gold or treasure. "The desire of your heart."
It usually points in the direction of travel As is also marked by the stone it points to and is confirmed by the hole drilled in that stone..,
The stone marked by the E is a false trail and will be very hard to follow and will lead you out to nowhere in particular, or BFE. As far away from the loot as they can get you to go.

As far as the true trail (marked by the stone with the hole and the heart)
Follow that set of markers.

" It usually points in the direction of travel " OD.

OD, What if the heart is on top of a hill and can only be seen at around 6PM ( shadow ). This particular heart points straight down. Would this mean the same thing.

Tough question as the daily movement of the sun would be different every day.
There must be some marker or measurement of time showing the sun's position in the sky to determine which day of the year to watch.

Unless as with other shadow markers you watch the shadow over the course of a day from the time the shadow is cast to the time it disappears at one point during the day the shadow will point closely to a sign or symbol near by you won't otherwise find with out the shadow's help.

EU,

I am willing to bet that the * you see is a natural occurance in the rock's surface,
If you look at the negative view of this stone it doesn't show at all.

The negative makes all of the new er cuts on the surface either show as dark or very bright white lines.

That is very possible. It is very rare to find stones with such stuff here in Sweden... :tongue3:
