09/04/08 beach finds

I got another 3 hours of detecting in today. scored a 1946 rosie,9 modern quarters,3 modern dimes, 10 modern pennies,2 modern nickles, a neat medallion and a ring.

Nice finds..your neat pendant, is a pentagram with the skull on it.. is it marked by any chance, as it looks pewter? Alot of punk rockers wear that stuff, otherwise, minus the skull, The Wiccans wear the pentagram as a form of protection. If you look at the star it has two legs, two arms and a head ( where the points are on the star is what I mean) now IF it didnt look like that, it would be called a inverted pentagram, which is considerd, those that fall into the devil worshippers catagory..or negative magick... Hope this helps, but yours is a form of protection even with the skull.

thanks for the info on the medallion, the ring seems like it is gold plated.
