Detector(s) used
A sharp eye, an AquaPulse and a finely tuned shrimp fork.
Primary Interest:
Shipwrecks
Rib procurement begins this weekend.
We'll be buying hamburger, hot dogs, buns and condom mints...I mean condiments.
If some folks could bring ice, soft drinks, side dishes and desserts it would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone have a hookup with some entity that rents tables and chairs?

Bill,
Can you get the proper paperwork from Have-A-Heart for donations? Must be on the company letterhead. I can request a donation such as water and possibly something to give away. Had this problem last year.

Don't you want me to bring the hot dogs and rolls? I brought a hundred last year.

Done, Dennis!

I was bored again..

We are not pirates nor princes,
We understand consequences,
we search and we salvage,
not plunder and pillage.
Not one of us has been photographed sacking a village.

Some archaeologists defame us,
and continually blame us
for finding what they seek
but they seem to be meek
when it comes to taking risks as we do every week.

We hunt for ships lost at sea long ago
Sailors searching for ships seems to be apropos
In fresh water and saltwater, shallow and deep
the treasure is seldom ours for to keep
though we think about it daily, some nights in our sleep.

The shipwrecks and cargoes still beckon us divers
and the tasks involved would stymie McGyver

the politicians and UNESCO legislate our downfall
but there is one thing those *******s would do well to recall

We've been here for centuries, it runs in the blood
We'll be here when their law books have turned into mud
Our sons and our daughters will take up the tools
They'll be smarter, and better and have been to the schools
of hard work and hard knocks and will outplay those fools.

Come April 28th we will meet in Sebastian,
Investors, divers, friends and boat captains
to eat and to drink and to tell some new stories
about shipwrecks and treasures and past days of glories
and plan out some trips to new territories.

So get out of bed, load the truck and just drive
to Sebastian where this party happens to thrive
No costumes, no dress code and no cover charge
Bring a side dish or drinks or ice in a cooler size large
and you'll leave with treasured memories to fill a damned barge.

Be there
or be square.

ah found some " special copper tokens " for raffle ...these were made from the original copper from the skin of the statue of liberty * --finished in 1886 --for its 100 th anniversary - in 1986 --which was also SEARS 100 TH --sears paid to have it refurbed -- so SEARS got the original outer copper skin and had special tokens made from it --when you bought a major appliance --you got one of the tokens --its marked on the back side SEARS 1886 /1986 ..100 TH.....ON THE FRONT SIDE SAYS "CONTAINS ORIGINAL MATERIAL". with a image of the statue of liberty ..so a few lucky folks can actually own a bit of the original statue of liberty --I gave several to my wife's school kids over the years

I will get with Nichole on Monday, Lynn. Thanks!

Bill, when contacting the foundation, please have them send their non-profit doc and make the request on letterhead to Home Depot #13361 asking for a donation including enough bottled water and ice to supply approximately 300 guests.
Also include a request something for the auction such as a grill, hammock, fire pit..etc. and that floor models and close outs will be gladly accepted.

I will handle the rest.

Long time lurker on the forums. So glad to finally have the time to come down to the festivities. I am a food truck/food vendor owner (The Smoke Junkie). Let me know if you need any consumables or disposables. Part of my branding is buying random labeled items(cheap). So I might show up with napkins from the Raddison and cups from burger king. Cannot carry perishables as I will be in the car. Also I have a surplus of condiments, sauces, plastic wears etc. PM me if you need anything.

I will be running a demo of DigTrakR on the evening of April the 27th, the day before the Annual Treasure Hunters Cookout at the Pennwood Lodge in Sebastian, weather permitting. I will use a hotspot if they don't have wifi, and a digital projector and screen. I will have a thumb drive with an install version of the software, so if you want to beta test, bring your laptop and we'll give it a go. The program will be in the pic-nic shelter. Details here:
Signum Ops | DigTrakR

Still planning to do this?

Just checking.
