11" Blue max 256 coil on my White's Classic II

I've been messing around with the ground balance
and the 11" blue max 256 coil on my modified White's Classic II. Once
this behemoth is balanced it get's great response.
Enough so that it can't be ignored, but it's too
damn heavy. Ahhh, problem solved. I saw some ad in
the back of a W&ET for this fulcrum strap on device
to alleviate the weight on your detector. So I found
a picture of one and made a prototype. I can't
believe how good it works. The 11 incher is like a
feather. Taking it out Sat morning on high disc and
high sens to see if it can sniff out a deep one where I already
hit it hard with the Shadow X2. Here's a couple pics.

I tried it out for a bit but like the lightness of my X2 and shortly switched back to it. It does make the 11" feel like hardly anything though. I have'nt used the modded White's Classic II since I got the X2 but I think I'm gonna bring her to silver park on Sat but only
with the stock 7" coil. I bought a used tesoro 10.5" concentric donut for the X2 but so far have found it to be too chattery in airtests and the backyard. I'll try it in the plowed fields and If it's still too noisy I'll sell it on ebay. I was told the tesoro umax coils work great on the X2. I'm not so sure, unless I got a beat coil.I'm going to be selling the 11" Bluemax 256 coil as well.
Take care, Mike

Would you please tell us how you made it? I got a 15 inch blue max and it is like swinging a truck. I would use it more but it just flat wears me out! Thanks.

It'll be easier if I just show a picture or two. I'll take a couple of pictures and post them when I get a chance later tonight after work. There's not too much too it. Just a couple of straps from old toolbags and an o ring. Take care, Mike
